Please Note:

We will return your device to you and void your warranty if:

. There is evidence that the device has been tampered with.

. We find any supplementary defects to the device outlined in the ‘What is not covered?’ section above.

Please make sure to package your item as securely as possible. We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused during transit due to insecure packaging.

How to make a claim

If you have an issue with a device that you have purchased from us, please contact us straight away and we will guide you through the process. In some cases, we might be able to assist you remotely. A member of our Tech Support Team can connect to your device and diagnose and potentially fix the issue for you.

If we are unable to fix the device remotely, we will provide you with the details to return your device to us.

FAQ

When does my warranty start?

Our warranties start from the day you receive your order and lasts for the length of time you selected.

All orders come with a FREE 1 Year Warranty, but 2 and 3 year warranties are available on most products for an additonal cost.

Are all tech items covered by a warranty?

Yes! Everything we sell includes a FREE 1 Year Warranty as standard.

Our warranty covers technical defects, it does not cover accidental damage.

What happens if I have a fault with my item?

We know that having an issue with your item will be a real pain, so we aim to make things as easy as possible.

We have tech support on hand to help you get back up an running, in cases where we are able to fix small issues remotely.

For any issues that require a full technical inspection, please contact us so we can provide you with the return details. Once you have received a returns authorisation email, please pack up your item and send it back to us. Once we have received it, we will full inspect and attempt to repair the issue.

If we are unable to repair the issue, we will replace for a like-for-like replacement (stock dependant) or a similar model.

If we are unable to repair the reported issue and can't find a suitable replacement, we will issue you with a full refund.

I'm based outside of the UK, how am I covered by the warranty?

The warranty is a UK based warranty only. If you travel outside of the UK with your device and need to make a warranty claim, the device will need to be sent back to our UK based warehouse. The repaired or replacement device can then only be sent to a UK address - We cannot ship outside of the UK

Full Terms

The refurbished equipment that we sell is covered by our warranty, the duration of the warranty will depend on the unit you have purchased and any options you have added. Our standard warranty for all models is twelve months from date of receipt (unless your online order clearly states a longer period).

Please note, this is a UK based warranty. If you are outside of the UK and need to return an order, the cost of returning the item will fall with the buyer; this includes any Import/Customs Duty charges. If a repair or replacement is required, these can only be shipped to a UK address.

The warranty covers the hardware of the unit and does not include software or consumables such as ink or batteries. The warranty does not cover any problems which arise through misuse or accidental damage.

If you have a problem please contact us as soon as possible with your order number (or the email address you used to order if you can’t find it) and/or the Serial Number of the unit (found on the underside of laptops and on the side of PCs). We are able to resolve many problems over the phone, or by remotely accessing your computer, please just contact us on 0161 777 1007 or via email on customerservices@tier1.com.

In some cases where original manufacturer’s warranty exists it may be resolvable with them, we will of course assist you with any information you may require and will contact them on your behalf.

In the first fourteen days (Dead on Arrival DOA period) we will collect the unit from you via courier. After this period the cost of returning any item will fall to the buyer. If you are not able to send it back yourself we offer a collection service for £12 (which is the cost of the collection service from our courier). In all cases you must ensure that your unit is packaged safely.

All units will be returned to you free of charge.
